My Sister's Place is looking for a Middlesbrough Sanctuary Coordinator, 16 hours per week, 12 months fixed term (with potential for continuation). Suitable as a secondment opportunity. £30,153 (FTE) Plus Pension Scheme. Based at My Sister’s Place, Borough Road, Middlesbrough.

The Middlesbrough Sanctuary Scheme is a homeless prevention project aimed at supporting victims of domestic abuse to stay in their homes (where it is safe to do so). This is a partnership approach between Thirteen Housing Group and My Sisters Place. Based in Central Middlesbrough the scheme provides a range of safety measures, advice and support on an outreach basis and works closely with Cleveland Police and Cleveland Fire Service. My Sister’s Place are seeking a highly organised individual to co-ordinate and manage this scheme. You will need a good understanding of domestic abuse and housing, and a non-judgemental customer focus to engage effectively with service users and partner agencies.
